Role & Responsibilities;
- Executive leadership and expertise in investments
- Develop both short and long-term investment strategies, allocation of assets and recommend portfolio investments
- Develop and implement investment policies and processes in-line with the Fund’s overall strategy
- Attract, motivate, develop and retain exceptional and diverse talent
- Manage and develop teams of investment management professionals providing leadership and oversight of all areas of the investment process
- Lead a culture of transparency with candid, open communication
- Formulate and oversee implementation of strategic and tactical investment strategies
- Advise the Fund’s Investment Committee on investment theories and investment styles, current domestic and international economic trends and the latest developments in technology, healthcare and/or FMCG markets.
- Present investment recommendations to the Fund’s Investment Committee
- Work closely with the Fund’s Chief Risk/Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements
- Play a key role and be instrumental in providing leads to various appropriate investors including Ultra high net worth investors, family offices and institutions to support fund raising efforts
- Actively participate in the marketing of funds during capital raising

**_Deal sourcing and investment underwriting _**
- Lead the process of developing, evaluating and reviewing deal flow and deal pipeline against investment and risk strategy and other investment criteria on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal and timely investment opportunities
- Source new investments including meeting with founders and entrepreneurs
- Build relationships with corporate financiers, M&A bankers and other strategic networks to deliver high quality, proprietary deal flow
- Lead the financial, commercial, risk, tax and legal due diligence and underwriting on potential investments and finalize the investment recommendation including amount and structure
- Formulate and present proprietary investment thesis supported by significant market research and analytics to the Investment Committee
- Develop detailed operating and financial models to support investment thesis

**_Post-investment and value creation and exit strategy _**
- Monitor, assess and present performance of each of the fund’s investments and measure against appropriate milestones and benchmarks
- Direct material value creation for portfolio companies to support progress towards key milestones
- Work closely with investment professionals, senior advisors and other executives in post-investment value creation
- Develop informed exit and liquidity strategy during investment decision. Refine and execute on exit strategies for each portfolio company
- Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio analyses
- Review and monitor subsector asset allocation strategy and recommend appropriate changes

Requirements;
- Bachelors degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution. Possession of MBA/DBA degree or related qualifications like CFA and CAIA will be advantageous.
- A minimum of 15+ years direct investing experience in the technology or healthcare or FMCG sector.
