We are currently working with an established Fintech client; who are actively looking for a Head of Compliance with relevant licencing work experience to join them.

**Head of Compliance
The role will oversee all aspects of compliance for the company. The main responsibilities are to lead and design regulatory compliance strategies and implement our programs for all compliance topics, such as Licensing, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Reporting, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise and support the business on all compliance matters and ensure the business is in alignment with license requirements globally
- Lead compliance for the region overseeing aspects of money laundering and other trending non-compliance areas to enhance compliance proficiency
- Develop and formulate company compliance policy, standards and operating procedures & controls and ensure effective implementation of the program
- Work with technology and product teams in assessing and mitigating technology risk and regulatory risks
- Conduct reviews on the adequacy and relevance of regulatory and compliance strategies, policies and frameworks, and oversee enhancements to address control deficiencies

**Requirements**:

- **8+ years of relevant experience in compliance roles of an international scope with deep understanding of licencing, banking, payments and financial services industries**:

- Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills
- **Broad exposure to global compliance issues**:

- Experience in developing and implementing internal controls and processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of business functions
- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering)
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
