**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Position summary statement**:

- Assist the Chief Engineer / Engineering Executive in the day-to-day administrative work in the Engineering Department
- To support and assist Chief Engineer / Engineering Executive to ensure that the Hotel’s engineering leases, contracts and bids are in accordance with established standards and guidelines and that they are supportive of the hotel’s interests.
- Provide secretarial and clerical support for the Engineering Department.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the secretarial and clerical work in the department.
- To relay information to internals / externals staffs to ensure information had been delivered.
- Typing, monitoring and ensure accuracy of files, reports, letters, memorandum, forms and other paperwork.
- Submission of vacation / sick leave, forms and billing to Personnel and Accounts Department as well as maintaining an accurate vacation sick leave record and billing record.
- Requisite office stock and engineering supplies to ensure adequate stock example light bulbs and etc.
- Providing accurate and prompt administrative support to the Engineering department.
