Job Title: SURFACE GRINDING MACHINIST

Location: Kallang, Singapore.

**Responsibilities & Duties**：**:

- To perform grinding operations as part of the machining process.
- Involves using other tool room machineries and checking equipment during the course of grinding

operations.
- Ability to read, interpret drawings and specifications of tools, dies or models; computing

dimensions and tolerances and verify machined parts conform to specification.
- Performs surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing.
- Operate and set-up operations for grinding machines.
- Conducts in-process inspection and final checks on work.
- Work with the Supervisor on the job planning, delivery time, scheduling, machine utilisation and

productivity.
- Ensures proper maintenance of machinery and measuring equipment.
- Ensure that areas are kept clean at all times and cleaning schedules are followed.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

WSQ Higher Certificate or equivalent - Field of Study in Engineering, Manufacturing &
Related Trades n.e.c.
*

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
*

Applicants must be willing to work in Kallang.
*

Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or

equivalent.
