You will manage and oversee the daily operations and overall performance in Materials Management to ensure all Key Performance Indicators are met and ensure all processing of library materials are completed in accordance with NLB’s requirement. Lead and implement changes to processes as part of improvement and innovation initiatives.
**[What you will be working on]**
- Supervise operations and oversee performance and end-to-end process of all deliverables (i.e. smooth workflow and library materials are delivered timely).
- Conduct manpower planning with operations to ensure manpower is adequate for the day’s work and maximize capacity of resources.
- Conduct regular meetings with vendors to review operational performance.
- Carry out data analysis to monitor and track operations and team performance and KPIs.
- Collate feedback from operations and resolve processing related problems and proactively devise and implement solutions.
- Plan process improvements and improve efficiency of operations to increase productivity.
- Assist in developing and implementing changes to guidelines and processes for better fulfilment of NLB requirements.
- Ensure operations performance complies with NLB service standards and policies and collections are delivered based on NLB standards and requirements.
- Prepare statistics for team and divisional reporting.
- Source and purchase materials/equipment required for daily operations of processing.
- Monitor operational budget vote for the department.
- Participate in cross-functional projects.
- Develop knowledge in logistics and supply chain topics, digital literacy and evolving tech.
- Contribute to business re-engineering projects and innovation roadmaps like automation projects to change the way things work.
- Support the development and delivery of and manage an automation processing line.

- Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong and proactive team player with good networking skills
- Good problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Strong customer focus
