**Job responsibilities**
- Work directly with CEO, CFO, and Analyst counterparts at shareholder level (prominent private equity firm).
- Perform monthly closing reports and analytics for teams to make informed business decisions, to explain performance and to monitor projects against approved business plans.
- Develop a new, detailed three-year plan for the entire company and group, together with teammates, CEO, and CFO.
- As company and group expands, aid in origination, analysis and execution of major strategic projects including potential acquisitions and business combinations; opportunity to be exposed to and enhance valuation, operational and financial model-building, and investment case preparation skills at the highest level.
- Handle business plan, annual budget and regular forecasting process, and preparation of presentation for board review and approval as well as assist functional stakeholders in tracking and managing their budget and understand the risks and opportunities to our financial targets.
- Prepare group reporting and financial dashboard, comprising both operational and financial KPI, for presentation to CEO and senior leadership team to form basis of important strategic decisions.
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly presentations to Board of Directors.
- Build return-on-investment models on business cases, including but not limited to geographic expansion, capex investment, key A&P spending, new business initiatives
- Prepare the monthly sales and retention targets for business teams
- Participate in ad-hoc duties, analysis and projects as required
- Min Degree in Accountancy, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years for Analyst (5 to 8 years for Manager) of demonstrated work experience in related roles with mid to large sized MNCs, or financial services, consulting, and advisory organisations.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
- Acuity and curiosity pertaining to problem-solving generally.
- Big Four or corporate finance experience will be advantageous, but any experience in accounting and financial statements is a plus.
