**But what’s the role?**

We are looking for an ambitious Cyber Security Engineer to join us in evolving our backend technology, and automate the latest attack techniques for execution at scale.

**Sounds great - what will I do?**
- You will have a leading role in designing, developing and maintaining modularised attacker tactics and techniques in our technology
- You will have the opportunity to build upon and evolve our internal offensive security framework
- You will work closely with our cybersecurity researchers to design work flows to quickly identity and exploit potential weaknesses in our clients’ systems
- You will tackle technology and data problems - how do we continuously improve our handling, processing, and presentation of data?

**Sounds perfect to me, what specifics are you looking for?**

**Technologies**
- Backend: Python or GoLang
- Network: Familiarity with network protocols, common network services
- Database: MongoDB

**Ideal Experience**

Ideally, you should have 2 or more years of experience:

- Working in a fast-paced cyber security environment
- Collecting data to automate workflows, through scraping, enumeration, network probing
- Working with external APIs and data sources that may not always be reliable
- Having to rapidly prototype mission-critical ideas or theories, where trade-offs have to be made
- Writing clean, testable code and are familiar with different testing strategies
- With architecture patterns such as event-sourcing and CQRS

**Bonus Experience**

It’ll also be awesome if you:

- Have experience in automating the ability to identify vulnerabilities, at scale
- Working with distributed systems, at scale
- Have experience in platform engineering work such as creating CI/CD pipelines and understand common deployment patterns
- Have worked in an Agile environment with a strong DevOps culture
