If you love the idea of creating films and sharing ideas but prefer to stay behind the scenes, you might make a perfect fit for a job as a camera operator and editor. As a camera operator, you will be asked to operate the camera during all filming and live broadcasts or other social media content with our company.

Your job roles include setting up cameras for production shoots and live broadcasts and caring for camera equipment to ensure that filming moves smoothly and stays on schedule. This is the perfect job for an individual who has an innovative, creative side but prefers the privacy of being behind the lens.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with producers and social media strategist to create videos for social media, websites and ads
- Brainstorm with team on creative ideas and angles for content on YouTube, Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
- Shoot and edit videos for different platforms, ensure timely delivery of drafts and cuts.
- Account for all equipment and ensure they are treated with care
- Operate and be accountable for DSLRs and other types of camera equipment accessories
- Setup lighting or work with assistants to achieve good lighting.
- Utilise sound and music with skill to create a cohesive and immersive effect for content and videos
- Manage data files properly and archive videos with good labelling
**Requirements**:

- Good video and editing portfolio, please submit it in your resume via a clickable link.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and ability to conceptualise shots, angles and crisp editing to form a cohesive video.
- Track record of meeting deadlines and producing videos at a high pace.
- Must have in depth knowledge of camera, lighting, editing, sound and related equipment for filming
- Be able to work with instructions that are ambiguous from non-video trained team members. Be able to clarify when things are not clear enough.
- Flexible working hours, we do not expect you to work 9-5pm but we have shoots in the evenings and weekends at times so you must be ready to go for them. Schedule will be balanced out as much as possible.
- Diploma/degree holders in film or video related courses
- High competency in Adobe editing software
