As a talented Python/React Developer, you'll be working hand-in-hand with our business team. Your role will involve performing analytics and crafting solutions that significantly influence our firm's commercial decisions.

You will be instrumental in broadening our global analytics platform. This will involve utilizing data from both our in-house trading system and various external datasets.

Your task will be to comprehend our requirements and deliver a broad spectrum of capabilities.

As a member of the analytics team, located in Singapore, you will:

- Collaborate directly with the business to design and implement scalable systems with a high degree of autonomy, thriving in our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Partner with the business to identify requirements and develop innovative solutions that directly influence the firm's commercial decisions

Please be aware that this role is deeply integrated into the trading floor operations, and will therefore involve certain support responsibilities related to price feeds and Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM).

**Qualifications** Your background**
- Previous experience at an investment bank, hedge fund or a commodity trading firm
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, or an equivalent field
- 5+ years of enterprise-level coding experience in Python
- 3+ years of enterprise-level coding experience in React (TypeScript)

**What you need to bring**
- Proficiency in translating requirements from a non-technical audience into fully end to end solutions
- Strong understanding of peer-reviewing, code versioning, and bug/issue tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, user-focused, with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in the functional and technical aspects of challenges
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities

Excellent English oral and written skills

**Additional Information**
Qualifications that will help you stand out
- Enterprise-level coding experience in C#
- Oracle / PL SQL development experience, including stored procedures
