**Responsibilities**
- The role will involve building a new business Entity and to help where possible developing relationships for the group’s Compliance offering
- Act as director and head of compliance for the new entity
- Maintain direct dialogue with the regulatory authorities
- Assist with regulatory licensing, providing compliance advice and remaining up to speed on all regulatory requirements
- Formulate and enforce an adequate and consistent compliance framework and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations and standards of good practice in relation to local applicable law and internal compliance.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned

**Requirements:
**Possess solid understanding of MAS regulations including, but not limited to**:

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- RFMC/ LFMC/VCFM/Capital Markets entities, Investment Advisers;
- Local regulatory framework
- Understanding of capital markets marketing models
- Fund regime both domestic and cross
- jurisdictional
- VCC framework
- Experience in regulatory licensing, implementation of compliance frameworks,
- Experience in identifying business related risks in financial institutions
- Experience in AML/KYC
- Ability to understand the implications of regulatory change on business
- Experience in compliance oversight for regulated institutions
- Interface with regulatory bodies, including MAS
- Experience in developing policies and procedures, compliance documents
- Good product knowledge of various financial institutions, including but not limited to managers, advisers, securities
