**What you will be working on**
- The officer is responsible for formulating strategies, policies, and driving projects to enable a well-resourced sector with sustainable and well-planned services, and future-ready social service agencies that deliver quality services.
Specifically, he/she will be part of a team that:

- Oversee and develop policies and processes to strengthen Government’s partnership with social service agencies that play strategic roles in the delivery of social services
- Work with divisions to consolidate information and analyse insights, to develop longer-term plans that supports key social service agencies’ growth
- Partner social service agencies on longer-term service planning, and support Senior Directors/Directors in the engagements of social service agencies
- Work closely with National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to support joint initiatives in strengthening key social service agencies

**What we are looking for**
- Past experience working in the social service or related sector, or in a policy role is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to take responsibility for projects and work independently
