**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Drive the discussion with Tokyo Head Office and MUFG entities in other regions, e.g., US and EMEA, on Business Architecture Strategy and Standards and align with global direction.
- Document business architecture artefacts and deliverables to deliver expected business case and value proposition, e.g. qualitative/quantitative benefits, total cost of ownership, implementation complexities, reusability, risk mitigation, etc.
- Develop a deep understanding of each business unit’s strategy, business model, operating model, processes, team structure and culture.
- Provide recommendations on emerging technology to chief architect and senior management.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and written, to various level among stakeholders across the organization.
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spot key errors and demonstrate strong ethical behaviour.
- Mentoring and coaching business architect resources.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years of related experiences in IT industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred or with equivalent experience
- Prior experience in business architecture/enterprise architecture domain is preferred
- Experience in banking industry is preferred

**Preferred Skills**:

- A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
- The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional inter-dependencies, and cross-silo redundancies
- The ability to act as liaison conveying business needs to IT and systems limitation to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
- Strong situational analysis, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
- Knowledge about TOGAF and practical implementation experience is preferred.
- Knowledge in Banking Industry Reference Architecture Model is preferred, e.g., BIAN, MIRA-B, etc.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tool is preferred, e.g., The Essential Project.
- Familiar with process improvement methodologies is a plus, e.g., Lean and Six Sigma, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Experience in Project Management is a plus
