System Test Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- We are seeking dynamic individuals who have a passion for product testing and improving quality of products and solutions.
- Bridgetek products are made up of hardware and software as we strive to offer a total solution to our customers. As such, we are able to offer and fit test professionals from various backgrounds involving hardware, software and cloud services.
- Strategize and define system test plans based on product requirements and design specifications.
- Develop test coverage matrices, test cases and participate in product and software validation
- Identify opportunities for automation in all aspects of testing.
- Be comfortable with one or more of the following: hardware and software, mobile apps and web client tests
- Prior experience with Robot Test Framework, Selenium, Appiumor related test frameworks will be ideal for software based testing.
- Co-ordinate reviews with hardware and software team leaders and verification testing team and product stakeholders.
- Listen to customer issues, minimize test escapes and continually improve and expand test capabilities
- Be the gatekeeper for product quality assurance
- Test the user manual

**Additional Responsibilities**:
Any reasonable task assigned by management and deemed to be within the individuals’ capabilities to ensure smooth running of the business.

**Knowledge and skill requirements**:
1. Be meticulous, systematic and detail driven.

2. Working experience from design to production is great if you have it.

3. Experience in process and quality development flow such as CMMI, structured product development cycle is a definite plus.

4. Python programming language skill is ideal for automation positions.

5. Knowledge and working experience in one or more of the following: IoT, wireless products, home automation products, office automation products is ideal.

6. Knowledge in connectivity technology such as USB, WIFI, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, GPS, UART, SPI, I2C is advantageous

8. Prior experience managing customer site PoCs is also advantageous.

Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Computer or IT Engineering

**Working conditions**:
Work is normal and is in an office environment. There may be occasional test requirement at our customer sites or at testing laboratories.
