**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Talent Management and Talent Development for Asia Pacific, this role will drive impactful core learning and development solutions.
Additionally, this role will participate in projects and initiatives related to talent management and culture initiatives.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Training Design and Development**
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
- Analyze job-specific requirements to help employees identify development gaps and related training needs.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other materials to support in-person or virtual deliveries (i.e., webinar, e-learning).
- Source for external training providers and materials to address specific development needs.
**Training Delivery and Facilitation**
- Train employees in acquiring new knowledge, techniques and skills to support ongoing development of all employees, through in-person sessions and webinars.
- Ensure appropriate target participants are identified for training activities.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure successful transfer of learning and substantiate return of investment (ROI).
- Ensure designated external trainings are carried out in a timely manner and are aligned with high standards of training delivery.
- Evaluate external providers’ proposals and coordinate with them for implementation and measurement of training effects.
- Perform training administration, including managing e-learning systems.
**Project Management**
- Establish project plans that are aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee accomplishment of multi-step projects involving other countries and stakeholders.
- Secure necessary resources for successful project completion.
- Maintain internal training systems and processes (e.g., e-learning system, survey and data collection software).
- Facilitate accurate translations of materials to support all APAC languages.
**Talent Management**
- Support Associate Director, Talent Management and Talent Development, APAC leader with talent management processes, which include but not limited to succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and culture change initiatives.
- Develop individualized development experiences for key talent and monitor plans to track progress and ensure completion.
- Assess stakeholder needs and identify appropriate solutions to meet their requests and expectations.

**Expected Areas of Competence**:
- Able to speak clearly in providing the appropriate information and level of detail, while keeping listeners engaged.
- Able to write materials that are clear and organized in such a way that enhances the presentation of key messages.
- Proficient in a variety of multimedia visual aids and technology to develop learning content for in-person and virtual training deliveries.
- Passionate about instructional design and training delivery - in person or virtual.
**Education/Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, or equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate degree such as Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or equivalent is preferred though not a must.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, measurement of training effects and managing training operations and administration.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Additional language fluency (i.e., Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese) to design and deliver training materials would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate proficiency with various e-learning software for curriculum and training design.
- Worked in a regional role, supporting Asia Pacific countries.
