Senior Associate, Comm Lit, 3-5 Years Pqe

The successful Associate will have sound basic practical problem solving and legal skills and a drive to develop their knowledge.

All of our associates work directly for the Partners in this team and have regular contact with clients.

This is a unique opportunity for a bright and ambitious lawyer who is keen to work on an array of challenging cases in a collegiate and highly regarded team within a fast growing global law firm. The successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of work.

Kennedys Singapore office was established in 2008 and in 2015 entered into a joint law venture (JLV) with local Singapore law firm, Legal Solutions to create Kennedys Legal Solutions. Kennedys Legal Solutions is the Singapore office of a the international law firm Kennedys which has 71 offices and associated office/cooperations around the world.

Kennedys Legal Solutions pride ourselves on helping our clients navigate both business and legal challenges throughout the Asia Pacific region and across multiple practice areas, with focus in both the commercial and insurance/reinsurance sector. We provide a seamless suite of services across both English and Singapore law and are closely connected with our offices in Hong Kong and the Middle East, as well as partner firms across Asia.

Legal Solutions LLC and Kennedys Legal Solutions specialise in providing legal services for litigation, arbitration, corporate and conveyancing services as well as healthcare, employment, construction, aviation, shipping, capital markets, regulatory and corporate and insurance advice.

Services such as litigation, conveyancing, criminal and family law are undertaken solely by Legal Solutions LLC due to Singapore regulations.

**Required experience**
- 3-5 years' PQE*
- Court experience, Arbitration experience and construction experience preferred *
- Excellent academics
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure, manage own time, excellent organisation skills
- Proactive and take initiative, quick turnaround time
- Singapore qualified.
