**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs, hosted on AWS.
- Utilize services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Build serverless solutions and integrate APIs with internal and third-party systems.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with best practices in mind.
- Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product managers.
- Support continuous integration and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
**Required Qualifications**:
- 5-7 years of professional experience in backend/API development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, DynamoDB, S3, IAM.
- Solid programming skills in Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven programming.
- Good understanding of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate or higher).
- Experience with GraphQL APIs or asynchronous messaging patterns (e.g., SNS/SQS).
- Exposure to containerized deployments using Docker, Fargate, or EKS.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
