The DLP Specialist:
- Is in charge of creating DLP policies and enhancing controls to protect the Bank’s data and reduce exposure to fraud,
- manages the roll-out of new data security features, including thorough testing and communication,
- engages stakeholders and coordinates smooth implementation of changes in production.
**RESPONSIBILITIES
**Main responsibilities**
DLP controls and policies
- Coordinate the set‐up of DLP solutions to support monitoring, quarantine and prevention across various channels
- Prepare and present relevant material for IT and Security validation committees
- Validate the feasibility of use cases and their design into DLP controls
- Estimate the cost of designing DLP policies, then design and develop these policies based on user/business requirements
- Carry out unit testing, performance testing, integration testing and regression testing of DLP policies and solutions in UAT prior to their release in production
- Coordinate the roll out of policy changes in production with Production Security teams, by documenting, recording and tracking them in the change management ticketing system (e.g. Service Now)
- Perform escalation, tracking, and resolution of production incidents if any, including their documentation
Projects and reporting
- Propose the use of automation wherever processes or tools can be enhanced
- Manage all tasks for relevant projects, studies and task forces within your scope by following the established project management guidelines and governance (budget, timeline, actions, risks, meetings/committees, validations, presentations, etc.)
- Produce KPIs and KRIS to represent and track each activity under your responsibility, in line with our client’s global frameworks
- Track and report technical and business exceptions by maintaining and communicating clear action plans until gaps are closed
- Interface with PMO to keep project on track, communicate status, identify and handle project risks
- Maintain synchronization on APAC DLP initiatives with DLP project teams in other regions
- Improve information security documentation, and develop a set of best practices for the DLP program rollout
- Remain compliant with internal security risk management practices for any existing or new DLP feature
**Additional contributions**
- Provide technical contribution to DLP backlog reviews and decisions for new controls
- Contribute to maintaining a reputation of excellence and professionalism vis a vis all senior management
- Actively contribute to our client’s Operational Permanent Control. Improve operational risk management, execute first-level controls and partner with IT OPC for validation
- Contribute to a better alignment and integration of DLP solutions worldwide
**TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
Technical competencies
- Has a good understanding of risk management and data security, architecture design and sizing
- Is familiar with regulatory requirements on data privacy and data protection in main APAC countries
- Possesses technical background in messaging and web infrastructure, and end-user computing
- Has previously worked in large international organizations, especially in the finance industry
- Is able to manage multiple tasks under tight constraints
- Has hands-on experience with DLP products and experience with some other security products
- Has a good understanding of general IT including network security architecture, encryption, and operating systems
- Has knowledge of SIEM systems and/or data lakes and event correlation
- Preferably has Unix / Linux and Python scripting experience
Behavioral competencies

**SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS (IF REQUIRED)**
- Possesses at least one IT Security certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM and ISO/IEC 27001
- Beside fluency in English, proficiency in French or one Asian language is a plus (to be able to engage senior stakeholders in France and Asia)
**OTHER/SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS (IF REQUIRED)**
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the following areas:
- Technology, tools, policies, and standards related to DLP security systems and incident response
- Designing and managing security solutions
- Project management within a large organization
- Programming languages, operating systems and scripting
