**Food Preparation**:

- Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and meats.
- Measure and prepare ingredients as instructed by the head or sous chef.
- Assist in marinating and pre-cooking preparations.

**2. Cooking Support**:

- Assist in basic cooking tasks such as boiling, frying, baking, and grilling.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Plate and garnish dishes as directed.

**3. Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness**:

- Keep the kitchen, workstations, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Dispose of waste properly and regularly.
- Ensure that utensils, pots, and pans are washed and stored appropriately.

**4. Stock & Inventory Assistance**:

- Check, receive, and store food supplies properly.
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the chef.
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and reduce waste.

**5. Food Safety & Hygiene**:

- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., proper food handling, storage temperatures).
- Wear appropriate protective gear (apron, gloves, hairnet).
- Maintain personal hygiene while on duty.

**6. Equipment Handling**:

- Operate kitchen equipment safely (blenders, mixers, ovens, slicers).
- Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to the supervisor.

**7. Support the Cooking Team**:

- Provide assistance to chefs and kitchen staff during busy hours.
- Help in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the head chef or sous chef.
