Asst Executive

[What the role is]

You will work in Memorial Facilities and Planning Division within the Public Health Services and Capabilities Group and assist the section to provide after-death care services at government cemetery and crematorium office.

**[What you will be working on]**
- Manage Funeral Service Providers/ external contractors during the delivery of exhumed remains and hospital parts/unclaimed bodies.
- Transport coffin/ caskets from unloading bay to cremators
- Operate cremators in a safe, proper and efficient manner, including the raking of remains during cremation process.
- Organise cremated remains for proper sorting and storage
- Operate the machine to convert the cremated remains to fine ashes.
- Carry out cleaning and simple maintenance duties at the cremation areas
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

**[What we are looking for]
- Language ability to verify cremation records and operate cremators/equipment with instructions in English.
- Tactful and able to work independently.
- Able to interact and foster teamwork.
- Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays, and to work in after-death environment.
