Pet Groomer

**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Pet Groomer to join the team at Bailey and Patch Cafe, a leading provider of premium pet grooming services in the Redhill Central Region. In this full-time role, you will support our experienced Pet Groomers in providing grooming services to our furry clients.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assist Pet Groomers in bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets to the highest standards
- Help maintain a clean and organised grooming salon
- Ensure the safe and comfortable handling of pets throughout the grooming process
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with pet owners
- Participate in ongoing training to develop your pet grooming skills

**What we're looking for**
- Some previous experience in pet grooming or a passion for working with animals
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with pets and their owners
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely
- A caring, patient and gentle approach when handling animals
- Willingness to learn and develop your pet grooming skills
- Certified with **SKC Class C/B/A Certification** - industry-recognized levels of pet grooming skill (plus point)
- **International Certifications** (like IPG or NDGAA) - if aiming for global recognition (plus point)
