Forte Biotech is developing POC molecular diagnostics for use in a veterinarian setting.
- Design and develop molecular assays, protocols for sample preparation and nucleic acid extraction and purification and/or other reagents related to molecular test for in vitro diagnosis
- Analyze data and troubleshoot issues and provide creative solutions
- Plan and execute experimental procedures to design, test, validate and integrate the products
- Demonstrates scientific technical expertise and drive projects to achieve project deliverables and objectives
- Compile and communicate project progress reports for milestone review with management and communicate & work effectively with team members on daily research activities
- Collaborating with project leads within and outside the organization to identify and resolve study specific issues
- Demonstrates good project management skills
- Guide junior staff in the team
- Minimal travelling is required to work with partners in Vietnam and beyond

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- PhD/Masters/Degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field with mínimal 3 years of working experiences, preferably in biotechnology industry experience
- Prior experience in project management is preferred
- Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
- This position with key responsibilities not only in the area of design and development, technology evaluation and system integration, but also project management and coordination.
