Job Description

**Monday - Friday**: 8AM to 530PM
**Working location**: Woodlands
MNC

**Responsibilities**:
Assembly, fitting, basic tool room machining, mould development, implementing process improvements for tool manufacturing and liaise with machining technician for process planning and scheduling of project
Discuss tooling drawing with Designer to ensure tooling design is meeting customer product requirement
Assemble, fitting and troubleshooting of tooling related issue
Fabricate tooling components and inserts according to tooling drawing
Liaise with Production Technician for execution/planning on mold testing
Ensure tool manufacturing and trial meeting planned schedule
Initiate corrective action if first article or parts not meeting specification
Ensure tool room facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used
Ensure tool room health and safety precautions are taken care at all times
Participate in Continuous Improvement Project
Any other ad hoc jobs assigned by Manager/Supervisor

**Requirements**:
Minimum 3 years of experience in mold manufacturing industry
ITC or Nitec certificate in Tool & Die Trade
Able to speak simple English
