Senior Data Scientist, Careers

**Your Job**:
As a Data Scientist at Indeed your role is to follow the data. Analyze and visualize them. You will also build and implement machine learning models to make timely decisions. You will have to effectively work independently and as part of a team, and be able to execute loosely-defined work items, including defining precise requirements. A key part of this product is understanding compensation and benefits offered for various roles and companies. Indeed has a vast collection of such information extracted from jobs and jobseekers, and we’re looking for passionate data scientists to help convert that data into thoughtful insights for our users.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team here at Indeed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support product development and initiatives, including understanding business needs, identifying product requirements and use-cases, documenting data requirements, etc.
- Build machine learning models and iterate to improve over existing models through experimentation and adoption of machine learning ops best practices
- Work closely with the engineering team to deploy, validate and monitor the machine learning models

**Who You Are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field
- 3+ years of professional industry experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analysis
- Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling
- Passion to answer Product/Engineering questions with data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring of data science products
- Have the desire to solve difficult problems at the intersection of machine learning, data engineering, and software engineering
- Communicate concisely and persuasively with engineers and product managers
- A growth-oriented individual ready to step out of one’s comfort zone and learn quickly and comprehensively to tackle new scopes of works

**Salary Range Disclaimer**:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

**Salary Range Transparency**:
Singapore 114,000 - 166,000 SGD per year
