Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Liaise with internal finance company to secure funds for RtMI.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Finance
- Analyze each commodity teams budgets and consolidates Global RtM budget.
- Secure and maintain facility limit of banks.
- Monitor cash flow forecast regularly and financial indicators such as ROIC (Return on Invested Capital).
- Liaise with banks in order to authorize LC/FX documents for transactions.
- Review and authorize daily payments
2. Accounting
- Manage RtMI financial statement and consolidated Global RtM statement.
- Authorize monthly statements and submit the reports to parent company (Tokyo).
- Monitor accounting treatment (IFRS9/IFRS15) of RtM group to maintain consistency on a consolidated basis.
- Review and reconcile sensitive financial information such as derivatives.
- Report important accounting issue to parent company (Tokyo) in Japanese
3. Tax
- Review and build pricing policy of all cross border related party transactions.
- Complete the transfer pricing documentation every year.
- Coordinate transactions to be complied with Japanese CFC (Controlled Foreign Company) taxation and Japanese consumption tax. Japanese language is required to communicate with relevant parties in Japan.
- Update relevant changes in tax regulation of Singapore, Japan and the consequential impacts such as OECD Pillar 2 (Global minimum tax).
- Promote and complete tax studies (PE risk, TP strategy, GST review etc) when establishing a subsidiary overseas.
4. Internal Control
- Review and update internal control policies and procedures to be complied with J-SOX(Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley).
- Drive process improvements to prevent accidents and fraud including operating expense management.
- Manage internal control tests both by 3rd party and auditor.
**Requirements**:
- At least 10 years of experience in multiple areas such as finance, accounting, tax.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experiences as manager of accounting/tax
- Knowledge of IFRS, consolidated accounting, and commodity derivatives
- Knowledge of Corporate tax and transfer pricing taxation, and Japanese CFC taxation.
- Knowledge of internal control documentation (Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley)
- Good relationship management with external auditors and banks.
- Self-driven in order to cooperate well with internal/external stakeholders.
