**Job Description**:

- Primary duty involves providing support to Fleet vessels in managing day-to-day maintenance of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/automation systems.
- Responsible for reviewing the planned maintenance schedule of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/automation systems, power generation, backup power source, and fire detection system for the Fleet and submitting it to the technical manager.
- Offering guidance to onboard engineers on tasks requiring electrical engineers’ expertise to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic/electro-pneumatic/automation systems.
- Willingly attending and assisting Fleet vessels in handling equipment failures of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic/electro-pneumatic/automation systems, conducting fault diagnosis, and resolving issues.
- Advising the Technical Superintendent on the necessity for shore assistance or procurement of spares when equipment failures cannot be resolved onboard.
- Collaborating with the Technical Superintendents to conduct on-board attendance.
- Preparing and submitting weekly reports on work done on the attended Fleet vessels to the technical manager.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements and modifications to electro/automation systems and providing systematic recommendations for enhancing vessel operations.
- Facilitating knowledge sharing and experience transfer by collaborating across the fleets.
- Providing advice to the Technical Superintendent on defect inputs and electrical repair specifications for dry docking planning.
- Assisting in providing input to incident investigations related to electrical matters.
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement process of departmental procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ETO (Electrical-Technical Officer) on sea-going vessels, in compliance with STCW Standard of competencies.
- Preferably, possessing a strong background in oil, gas, or chemical tankers or offshore support vessels.
- Additional advantage with a good academic qualification in tertiary education related to Electrical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Possessing a comprehensive understanding of electrical power distribution, maintenance, and practical hands-on skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis related to electrical, instrumentation, automation & control, and air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Familiar with regulatory and legislative aspects of the shipping industry.
- Being a team player who collaborates effectively with both office technical teams and shipboard teams.
- Having strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
