**What you will be working on**
- You will be part of an energetic team responsible for identifying and building emerging industries in Singapore. The job scope involves:

- Conducting regular horizon scanning on new and emerging trends and technologies to assess the economic opportunities for Singapore;
- Conducting in-depth analysis to understand opportunities and risks in specific markets, including assessing market size and supply chain segments;
- Working closely with other economic agencies to develop actionable strategies to grow emerging industries in the medium-to-long term;
- Engaging with industry players and global thought leaders to understand the latest trends, challenges ,and opportunities; and
- Developing and constantly improving on the processes, tools and methodologies used to identify emerging industries.

**What we are looking for**
- You should have:

- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience in either the public or private sector
- Interest in emerging industries/technologies
- Clarity of thought
- Keen business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Aptitude for market and technology research
- High data and numerical literacy to support robust analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
- The ability to build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders
- A self-starter mindset, exemplified by high initiative and resourcefulness to solve new problems
- The ability to develop and execute ideas and initiatives where there may be no precedent
- Good leadership and project management skills
