Purchaser, Mechandise

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Negotiate prices,discount terms and transportation arrangements for merchandise.
- Analyze and monitor sales records, trends and economic conditions to anticipate consumer buying patterns and determine what the company will sell and how much inventory is needed.
- Procure wholesale products and supplies through vendors in various locations for the company’s consumer product retail line
- Meet with vendors and discuss potential product needs or custom merchandise ideas to help differentiate the brand among consumers
- Choose products to offer that meet the needs of the company’s customers by carefully reviewing potential items through vendor showrooms or catalogues
- Collaborate with management to determine consumer pricing strategies and promotions with markdowns and clearance items
- Coordinate with Retail Outlets on Purchases and Deliveries
- Manage costing and pricing and regularly monitor Inventory
- Generate purchase and sales order and manage the department for which they buy.
- Coordinate on deliveries to ensure smooth operation
- Inspect products or merchandise to determine yield or quality

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B/B2C wholesale and Retail industry.
- Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging (curry and spice powder) and good knowledge in products distributions through various channels
- Must have Class 3 licence. Vehicle cannot drive home.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers & vendors
- Possess experience working in an Indian/Bangladesh spices production facility.
- Possess strong network in spices procurement.
- Must be able to work extra hours and longer hours if required
- Must work on weekends/PH.Strictly off on week day
- Able to lift heavy cartons / sacks up to 40kg at a time.
- Able to withstand strong spice smelling area
- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Ready to drive and deliver good, in case of emergency
- Coordinate between employee and admin Able to take stress
- Able to work in a team with communication and understanding of work flow
