Provide Application Engineering support for OMRON’s Automation Products to our clients and regional project teams.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Create prototypes, conduct simulation studies, and complete proof of concepts using mobile robots.
- Be a regional mobile robot expert and provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Develop, test and execute innovative solutions in the autonomous robots front.
- Develop sample code, technical notes, and quick start guides for mobile robot solutions.
- Develop training materials and conduct training for both internal and external customers.
- Should be comfortable working along with the product development team and sales team.
- Provide feedback to Product Management on our mobile robots, such as reporting bugs/issues and making suggestions for enhancements.
- Work with team members to integrate and improve our Automation Test Center (ATC).
- Keeping abreast of Omron Automation Technology & Products
- Represent Omron in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in programming languages (like C#, python)
- 0-3 years in an Engineering role
- Hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting mobile robot
- Exposures to AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning algorithms
- Able to understand electrical circuits and implement them
- Basic expertise in Industrial Automation products
- Mobile Robot knowledge
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-Motivated and adapt to changes with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Able to handle day to day tasks with No or little supervision
- Expected to travel (20 - 30) % of the time, mainly within the Asia Pacific region.
