**Role Summary**
Reporting to the EVP Africa, Middle East and Asia and based in Singapore, you will draw on your extensive prior experience of international operations to support the regional CEO and territory Managing Directors in developing their businesses, growing their revenue from local and international product releases & increasing UMG’s market share with local, regional and international digital platforms.
You will be tasked with ensuring UMG leverages its position as the Global leader in the Music space to enhance local dominance, diversify revenue streams and increases profitability beyond that expected by the uptick in the growth of the music sector as a whole.
You will be expected to play a significant role in partnering with local Managing Directors and their senior teams and providing support and guidance in dealings with artists, management and/or related commercial interests.

**Business Strategy**
- Ensure clear communication from digital strategy to global/regional/local stakeholders
- Play a role in evaluating UMG’s digital strategic and business development direction through industry research and analysis
- Serve as an internal consultant and advise on digital market development
- Closely work with territory leads and local Digital teams during yearly budget process to provide strategic advices and to align with global strategy
**Business Development**
- Source compelling new digital business opportunities
- Lead business development discussions by evaluating potential digital opportunities
- Closely monitoring ongoing developments in the global digital music market and presenting relevant analyses and insights with actionable recommendations for the region
**Account Management**
- Develop strategy to partner with digital music platform companies
- Drive marketing & promotional initiatives with large streaming accounts to maximize revenue and exposure for international and regional artists
- Managing the partnership with regional marketing team and local commercial team to drive regional strategy while balancing local needs
- Provide feedback and reporting on digital campaigns and results as required, to clients and internal management
- Develop revenue generating strategies for digital that will enable marketing decisions and campaigns
- Lead data analytics and closely working with insight teams to develop valuable business intelligence to feed into strategic plans and recommendations
- Analyse reports to evaluate industry trends, categories, different revenue streams or products
**Required or highly desirable**:
- Prior international experience across multiple markets at a senior level (Europe/Asia preferred)
- Cross functional management experience preferred (Legal, HR, Finance etc). The role will require an ability to work with many departments and across multiple areas of the commercial landscape
- Digital focus/experience with a solid understanding of current media landscape and trends
- Analytical with good understanding of data analysis and market research
- Comfortable with extended periods of travel
