**What the role is**

DEPUTY /ASSISTANT MANAGER, TRANSPORT RESEARCH

**What you will be working on**

You will be part of a team responsible for coordinating and driving LTA’s environmental sustainability efforts in the following areas:

- Develop pathways to decarbonise the land transport sector taking into

consideration evolving technology, economic and policy conditions
- Coordinate and monitor portfolio of sustainability initiatives and projects

across LTA
- Develop sustainability targets in consultation with management and

stakeholders, track and report on defined performance indicators
- Develop and operationalise sustainability reporting in accordance with

established standards and organisational requirements
- Support and advise LTA divisions in driving and executing projects to

achieve sustainability goals
- Track evolving ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) sustainability

standards and trends relevant to land transport, and integrate
recommendations into LTA’s sustainability framework
- Support and profile LTA’s sustainability initiatives at relevant external

forums

**What we are looking for**

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications preferably in Sustainability/Environmental Sciences,

Engineering, Economics, or other related quantitative fields
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in sustainability or related fields is

preferred
- Experience in carbon emissions accounting/projections and sustainability

reporting with knowledge of reporting frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, ISSB
etc. is a plus
- Strong analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and

adapt quickly to growing requirements in the sustainability sphere
- Comfortable with matrix reporting and agile cross-functional working
