**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and program SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, reflow ovens and inspection systems according to production requirements.
- Load electronic components onto feeders, adjust machine parameters and verify machine settings for optimal production.
- Rework components on the line and trouble shoot in process problems.
- Conduct machine calibration and alignment procedures to ensure accurate placement and soldering of components.
- Monitor the production process, ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs to maintain optimal production output.
- Inspect finished circuit boards and electronic assemblies for quality and adherence to specifications, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and resolve technical issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards with ISO Standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including equipment logs, defect reports, and inventory records.
- Have a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on SMT equipment to ensure their proper functioning and minimize downtime.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electronics is a plus.
- Proven experience working with SMT equipment in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
- Strong knowledge of surface mount technology processes, including component types, placement techniques, soldering methods, and reflow profiles.
- Familiarity with SMT equipment operation and programming, including pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, reflow ovens, and inspection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software used in SMT programming and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
