Program Manager, Corporate Philanthropy

Corporate Philanthropy is core to the culture of Bloomberg. We focus on giving back in the cities in which we live and work, and we harness the talents of our employees and the resources of our business to create lasting social impact and deepen engagement with our colleagues, clients, and cultural and charitable partner organizations around the world. This involves close collaboration with other Bloomberg business areas, as well as coordination of the company's volunteer engagement with cultural and charitable organizations across APAC.

What's the role:
It is imperative that they you be as comfortable talking about business strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to manage and participate in volunteer projects that range from packing meals for the elderly to planting trees in local parks.

You will work closely alongside colleagues in other APAC locations, as well as New York and London. You should have the ability to work independently, be able to prioritize and multi-task, as well as have the confidence in dealing with a wide range of people and projects at various levels. A flexible attitude in terms of hours and approach is essential.

We'll trust you to:

- Identifying and establishing relationships with new non-profit organizations as well as managing existing relationships for around 50 partners across Singapore and ASEAN
- Evaluating non-profit partners' grant proposals and making funding recommendations to the APAC Regional Philanthropy Lead
- Collaborating with Philanthropy Operations on diligence and legal agreements for non-profit partnerships
- Managing and executing skills-based and "extra-hands" volunteer programs, including program development, volunteer recruitment, on-site event support, metrics entry, attendance tracking, and pre
- and post-event communications
- Managing and executing non-volunteer events for employees and clients at cultural institutions, including everything from venue and catering selection to invitation and RSVP management to post-event assessment, often in collaboration with Bloomberg's marketing and sales teams
- Collaborating with regional counterparts on larger global programs as well as knowledge-sharing and best practices
- Responding to internal and external questions about Bloomberg's Corporate Philanthropy
- Drafting executive briefs on partnerships and programs
- Maintaining high-quality records in our events, CRM, and grants management systems with strong attention to detail
- Providing ad hoc support for special projects at the direction of the APAC Regional Lead

**You'll need to have**:

- 3-7 years sales, account management or project management experience in a non-profit organisation
- Experience collaborating with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Experience designing and executing volunteering programmes for multi-national corporations
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Problem solving and sound judgement to resolve issues
- Confidence speaking with and presenting to senior business leaders
- Capacity to influence and direct others, often without direct-line reporting authority
- Humility, enthusiasm, discretion, and integrity in spades
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
