We are looking for a highly motivated & determined individual to support the growth of the business in our Private Clients Department.

As an Insurance Broker / Advisor, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities / leads, managing renewals for existing clients, and building relationships with clients under your portfolio.

You will provide effective advice to individuals and families, help them find the right insurance package, negotiate proposals with insurers, and deliver the best solution and outcome for your clients. You will collaborate with our internal business team and insurance partners, where necessary.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Generate new business opportunities by networking (joining external conferences, attending networking events/professional group/associations etc), identifying opportunities for offering / adding policies onto existing insurance packages, referral, cold-calling, etc
- Provide excellent client services to our high-nett-worth (HNW) and expatriate clients
- Focus on building sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and friendly communication
- Identify and assess customers’ needs and advice accordingly
- Conducting extensive research into insurers and their packages
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the given tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the SLAs
- Follow procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Carry out administrative tasks such as record keeping of client’s data in our systems
- Any other ad-hoc duties/projects assigned by the Head of Private Clients.

**Requirement**:

- You are an experienced and outgoing client service professional, and you enjoy networking and engaging with people
- You have excellent communication skills and are good at planning ahead as well as being hands on and operational
- You thrive in a professional environment with a strong corporate culture.
- You can prioritize work, remain calm under pressure and you are confident with using initiative
- You have the ability to take on and understand large quantities of information
- You are well organized with the ability to manage a large workload and deadlines
- Skills in Business Development, Sales and Client Servicing
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Possessed relevant insurance certification in HI, BCP, PGI
- MS Office suite of productivity tools

**Experience in the following areas would be a bonus**:

- International Private Medical Insurance, M9, M9A and M5/ R5
- Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
