**YOUR ROLE**

The Data Engineer Intern will play a vital role in supporting our data-driven initiatives by assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. The intern will work closely with our data engineering team to ensure the seamless flow of data across various systems, enhance data quality, and optimize data processing workflows. This hands-on experience will provide the intern with valuable exposure to real-world data engineering projects, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field, while making a significant impact on our organization.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines, ensuring the seamless flow of data across various systems and platforms.
- Assist in data pre-processing tasks, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation, to enhance data quality and consistency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop, and optimize data processing workflows, and ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES**
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field,
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks and technologies such as Air Flow, Spark, and/or SQL databases,
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, or C++,
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment,
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
