**Aegis Technologies **is looking for a **Lead Developer **. Apart from the development of information systems, the lead developer will also be responsible for team management, monitoring, reporting and proper and timely project execution. The Lead Developer will lead a team of developers who will be responsible for building new solutions as well as supporting existing systems.

As a Lead Developer, you should be able to prioritise well, communicate clearly, work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. **Your responsibilities will include**:

- Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
- Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
- Writing testable, scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews
- Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determine software quality standards

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years experience as a software engineer/developer
- Fluent with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages such as Python, C/c++ programming
- Experienced working in an agile environment
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provides estimates and meet production deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties
