
Assistant Manager, Operations

**Responsibilities**
- Perform loan processing (such as new loan drawdown, loan rollover, loan prepayment and repayment) and ensure that transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Monitor and perform loan administration such as verification of authorized signatories, repayment schedules, fee calculation, loan collection and loan restructuring etc.
- Liaise with Treasury and Finance Department on loan transactions, classification and reconciliation.
- Monitor internal fund transfers and remittance support, such as GIRO and G3, for loan processing.
- Monitor and perform fee collection, issuance of loan advices, cashier’s orders, fee advices, audit confirmations, annual loan interest statements and other ad-hoc requests from customers/Relationship Managers.
- Monitor and perform mainly maker’s role and ad-hoc authorization for other team members’ inputs (as and when required) to ensure that processing/settlement of the transactions are timely and accurate.
- Handle customer enquiries/feedback, call-back and resolutions.
- Assist in periodic internal and regulatory reporting.
- Update SOP to reflect changes in local policies, regulatory requirements and risk control measures to ensure compliance.
- Participate in work improvement projects and user-acceptance tests as and when required.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry.
- Well versed in loan operations as well as loan administration processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge in SWIFT, MEPs+ and GIRO payment process would be advantageous.
- Positive mindset coupled with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Able to multi-task and drive desired outcomes with tight timelines.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Independent and self-motivated team player.
