On behalf of one of its clients, an innovative applied behavioral science-based research agency, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for an **_Insights Director.

The hiring company is an innovative applied behavioral science-based research agency offering insight & consultancy to the world’s largest and most respected Consumer Products Goods (FMCG) companies. With offices in New York, London, Paris, Geneva, Milan, Frankfurt, Shanghai, and Singapore, their proprietary tools accurately understand, predict and influence consumer choice to helps marketers improve shopper and consumer experiences, enhance people’s lives, and contribute to a better world.

The hiring company's goal is to ensure their clients’ brands have the greatest chance of being purchased. And repurchased. All studies are ad-hoc in nature and the scope of work includes conducting research in markets across many markets at once.

**Responsibilities**
- To understand the background and intent of client requests (participating in kick-off calls, reviewing proposals and market research briefs)
- Includes taking the time to develop a deeper understanding of the clients’ categories and key competitors
- Lead the development of research plans and proposals (adhering to the Company's best practices, services, and visual guidelines)
- Willingness to contribute to the research process, if necessary, including screeners, questionnaire design, scripting surveys, etc.
- Managing / directing projects from start to finish including close collaboration with PM/Fieldwork department
- Lead strategic analysis and reporting
- Train & coach a team of juniors

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Arts /Bachelor of Sciences preferably
- 8+ years of experience in a research consultancy or market research environment, ideally with FMCG clients and/or shopper/packaging/ NPD/ retail research
- Knowledge and interest in new-tech and digital research solutions
- Good understanding of quantitative metrics and experience in combined qual-quant projects execution and analysis preferred
- Strong writing and analytical ability - knowing how to convert data and analysis into stories
- Must be able to work independently, yet be comfortable asking questions
- Proven ability to take responsibility, think analytically, and communicate clearly
