Finance Manager/senior Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary finance business partner for MSS Systems & Life Cycle Services Business Leaders
- Leads the finance review & analysis and works with Finance VP to drive MSS results.
- Leads review & analysis of monthly financial results of AP subsidiaries and business operations for MSS and any supplementary analysis or risk analysis required to support the business & planning. Provide analysis required by APHQ and Global BU teams
- Participate in a finance advisory role on any MSS projects, programs, policies, or business reviews
- Perform monthly Project Reviews, POC reviews & monitoring of LCS 5 + 1 business segments & profitability
- Review Percentage complete (POC) monthly sales recognition and Journal Entries related to MSS for Singapore Site & AP countries
- Review & ensure accuracy & reasonableness of Product Group, KOB reporting & Management Region reporting.
- Provide enforcement of Corporate Policies and Procedures within Asia Pacific. Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Review the appropriateness and sufficiency of business internal controls and provide suggestions for improvements.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure prompt completion, signing and filing of audited accounts

**Budgets/Forecasts**:

- To coordinate the timely preparation and consolidation of all annual operating and capital budgets as well as periodic forecasts of the same.
- Performs financial analysis of divisional and entity actual performance, budgets, rolling forecasts, and business plans and provide advice regarding corrective actions to management for deviations to budget.
- Determine benchmarks to track and improve performance.

**Asset Management**:

- Support capital reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the analysis and recommendations regarding specific financial projects, equipment replacement or additions, plant additions/expansions, etc.
- Support world area/division effort to ensure prompt collection of customer receivables to meet DSO targets.
- Monitor NPO and ensure that POC sales are invoiced on a timely basis. Review aging of NPO
- Work closely with Operations to ensure proper Inventory control and procedures in place

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting and Finance with a solid understanding of accounting theory, Singapore & US GAAP.
- MBA and CPA preferred
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated management skills with good communication skills & a team player.
- Possess business acumen & excellent financial planning, analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems - Oracle & Hyperion experience is an advantage
