Reimagine a Play-to-Earn Metaverse, where the virtual and real world converge

Affyn is a blockchain-powered Metaverse project with a Free-to-Play, Play-to-Earn mobile game that integrates the best of both the virtual world and the real world. Utilising geolocation technology, augmented reality "AR" mechanics and blockchain technology such as non-fungible tokens "NFT".

Affyn aims to create an ecosystem that is fun and practical, both virtually and in real life.

As the **Lead Game Designer **, you will work hand-in-hand with the game director to plan out and carry to fruition key systems and game economy designs. You will lead a team of designers and also work with external developers to create and implement Affyn’s titles.

Your experience in all aspects of game design will be the guiding hand in building the world of NEXUS, formulating engaging mechanics and fulfilling game loops and provide structure for the ever-evolving game world.

From taking the games from production to live operations, continuing on to analysis and optimization of game mechanics and event metrics during the operation phases, you will be integral to the planning and development of new features for the ensured success of the Affyn library of games.

**Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and discuss new and existing game ideas
- Documentation of formalized game mechanics
- Creating game design flowcharts
- Leading a team of designers to
- Working with developers to ensure correct implementation of designs
- Checking and verification of game designs and expected dynamics

**Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in leading a team, taking a game from production to launch
- Experience working with database structured design
- Proficient in Office suite software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Familiar with documentation and reporting tools (Confluence, JIRA)
- Experience with data and KPI analysis for games
- Able to make data-driven decisions
- 7-10 years of experience in game design (mobile experience ideal)
- Great communication skills and teamwork

**Having these are a plus:
- Familiar with Unity Engine
- Able to use Photoshop to make quick edits when required
- Able to use video editing software to compile videos
