**Purpose of Job**:
Responsible to keep alive IRD Global's community engagement, media strategy and corporate communications functions that include the development and execution of overall corporate strategy.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Develop content and design for all corporate communication materials and social media platforms for IRD Global and country offices as necessary, with intent to promote IRD Global.
- Draft, write, and edit written content for social media posts, websites, articles, newsletters, stories and press releases.
- Develop creative content - work with teams across country offices to provide communications support to community project teams.
- Provide the necessary communications support for community engagement projects in Singapore and country offices where necessary.
- Ensure the relevance of the IRD website and maintain up-to-date content.
- Develop communications strategies to build and maintain a positive corporate brand.
- Establish communications strategies (internal & external).
- Increase IRD Global's visibility among stakeholders and improve engagement with donor agencies (local/international).
- Act as media liaison and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; compose and distribute press releases as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with various members of the media; expand the media database globally.
- Knowledge of simple photography and videography is required.
- Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Communications.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in writing and editing. Basic designing, videography, or photography skills will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, a fast learner who is ready to hit the ground running.
- Organised and detail-oriented, and problem solver.
- Good listener and maintains accountability for their actions.
- Ability to work independently and under tight timelines.
- Proactive in completing tasks and identifying gaps and needs
- Hands-on experience with communication and branding.
