Singapore RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Full time

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Structural Engineer with demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of building structures, including various project typologies - mixed-use, residential, retail, commercial developments etc.

This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to help drive innovation and successful project delivery within agreed timelines, quality parameters, and budgets.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Lead the preparation of concept, schematic, and detailed structural designs, including 3D analytical models, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Maintain responsibility for technical integrity and quality of all structural designs.
- Provide oversight and guidance on statutory approval processes and coordination with authorities.
- Ensure timely production and delivery of design outputs in line with project scope and client expectations.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of their digital and structural modelling skills.
- Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Stay current with professional standards, codes, and digital engineering practices, contributing to technical excellence within the team.

**Core Competencies & Attributes**:

- Proficiency in structural engineering software and platforms, including Robot, ETABS, STAAD, CSC, RAM, SAP and Tedds. Familiarity with Revit/Dynamo and Rhino/Grasshopper is advantageous.
- Innovative and solution-oriented approach to structural design, with a focus on sustainability and off-site manufacturing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, acting with professionalism, integrity, and due diligence in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities, with a proactive mindset and ability to deliver under pressure.
- Clear understanding of professional and international design standards.

**What you will need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in structural design, including 5 years of experience working in the international design consultancies in the Middle East region.
- Thorough understanding of regional Middle East codes, authority requirements, and local market practices.
- Demonstrable success in leading and delivering building structures projects across multiple sectors.
- Track record of delivering high-quality structural projects on time and within budget.Experienced in managing project programmes, resource allocation, and cost control.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Dubai Municipality G+Unlimited Accreditation and/or certification from other local Middle East authority bodies.Membership or certification from IStructE or similar professional bodies.
