The basic function of a **Safety & Security Officer **is to safeguard the lives and properties; they will be responsible to perform general duties to protect life and property including prevention and deterrence of crimes within the premises. The responsibilities include creating security and fire safety awareness among employees and guests. To ensure that all security and fire safety duties are performed and maintained with the Hotel G Singapore standard regulations

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of Security within the Hotel at all times whilst on duty.
- Conform to and enforce policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in the Hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
- Performs special duties as required by the Safety & Security Manager.
- Maintain a Hotel log book on incidents, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up actions.
- Attend regular operational meetings to review, monitor, adjust and upgrade the performance of the Department as a whole, explaining new directions and policies and procedures at the same time.
- Be aware of the Security policies and procedures of the Hotel, and ensure that at all times in all areas of the Hotel that they are being strictly adhered to.
- Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures, and your Departments responsibility in an emergency.
- Assist in maintained and improved security standard as well as meeting with the security audit targeted.
- Efficient usage and upkeep of communication tools and equipment to enhance productivity work flow.
- To response immediately to needs of guests and request s of departments or employees for any security and fire safety assistance.
