WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

The main objectives of this position are to manage multi-asset portfolios and support various investment initiatives.

The Portfolio Manager helps manage multi-asset portfolios that invest across public assets/private assets/geographic regions/sectors/factors/currencies and is expected to take ownership of the portfolio performance. The Portfolio Manager is expected to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and translate these into implementable investment strategies. The Portfolio Manager shall be a disciplined risk taker with proven risk management track record.

The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with other professionals in AIAIM and AIA Group Investment to achieve the position’s objectives. The role requires good communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Portfolio Management

Management of multi-asset portfolios in accordance with investment mandate ownership of performance

Disciplined risk taker with good risk management track record, ability to generate good risk-adjusted returns

Collaborate with other internal/external fund managers and the trading team to develop and implement portfolio strategy

Articulate investment strategy and performance drivers to stakeholders including senior management and internal clients

Work closely with colleagues in Middle Office and Operations to enhance portfolio risk monitoring and performance attribution of multi-asset portfolios

Research and Strategy

Utilisation and integration of internal and external research to enhance existing investment framework for multi-assets (including FX). Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support portfolio construction

Collaborate with Group’s Tactical Asset Allocation team on development and implementation of multi-asset strategies

Business Development

Work closely with Product team and other stakeholders by participating in the design of new multi-asset solutions

Present to sales teams and clients as well as support the preparation of communications to distribution channels and clients.
