JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Regional Marketing, APAC, this role will be based in Singapore and responsible for the strategic marketing and development of the Therapeutic Systems (TS) business in the APAC market. Primary responsibilities are: developing regional marketing strategies and implementing on regional initiatives and campaigns. This role serves to provide strategic marketing direction and support towards sales and marketing management, through the leadership of collaboration and coordination of the various cross functional teams as required to successfully support the regional commercial efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Responsible for developing and implementing short to long term regional strategic plans for product, protocols, and indication commercialization, customer segments pathways, as well as product lifecycle management
Provide inputs to country marketing for the pre-to post-launch plans. Drive use of adapted marketing tools and materials as support for customers and sales force
Responsible for collating market size, share & penetration goals, installation, utilization rates, indication relevance, message development and refinement, all while ensuring alignment with global and countries product commercialization plans
Compilation of market competitive data, landscape, market research and analysis; followed through by internal and external marketing messaging
Works with commercial finance to provide regional business analysis input to sales management
Leads in the development and implementation of overall regional TS strategic initiatives, giving direction to sales management for regional and country sales POA (Plans of Action)
Provides guidance to the localization and coordination of sales and marketing training to support strategic initiatives
Provides leadership, direction and assistance to scientific, clinical education and regulatory affairs teams to ensure that regional market needs are met in design and implementation of products, clinical protocols and regulatory submissions
Works strategically with Blood Centre Solutions and Cell Therapy Technologies regional leadership to ensure cross-business alignment
Leads strategic direction and implementation for regional trade shows and international trade shows based within region; to ensure correct regional positioning and messaging
Takes a leadership role by working with cross-functional teams in providing direction and regional input to production and quality teams to address system and disposable quality concerns and to implement Field Actions in region
Develops metrics to understand overall customer retention, repeat purchase behavior across key segments, by analyzing third party data sources and recommending strategies to improve overall customer acquisition, retention, and conversion activities

Provides leadership and strategic direction with global marketing in assessing complex regional business and market development opportunities and develops business plans for these proposed opportunities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Marketing or equivalent of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. An advanced degree is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in area(s) of sales and marketing in a pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regional marketing, and with experience in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Heath Economics & Market Access.
Experience in the fields of haematology, neurology, immunology or oncology is preferred.

**Skills**:
Advanced sales and marketing competencies, with a strong working knowledge of market/clinical promotion and implementation.
Strong level of working within the APAC regulatory constraints for a therapeutic class medical device and for the promotion of therapeutic clinical indications within the boundaries of APAC Med guidelines.
Ability to understand the clinical science and translate messaging into clear communication package for customers and sales teams.
Strategic planning, product development, product positioning and networking skills.
Strong business/organizational knowledge and how it relates to others in the same market or sector.
Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multiple levels of management internally and externally, as well as all functions and levels within the business organization.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both speaking and in writing, in English and an additional Asian language, i.e. Chinese, is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires regional and international business travel (~30%).
Occasional weekends work required.
