**Your new company**
My client is a global insurance firm with a strong business presence here in providing direct composite insurance services. We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the IFRS 17 reporting team to support the parallel run of this accounting standard.

**Your new role**
Joining the broader finance team with my client, you will be mainly responsible contributing to IFRS 17 Projects. Sitting in a lean Reporting team, you will mainly handle the projects surrounding IFRS 17. Here’s a snippet of the JD:

- Project Planning
- Contribute to technical accounting papers and accounting policies
- Aid in development of system architecture (Finance related)
- Develop IFRS 17 Chart of Accounts
- Data mapping and system integration

**What you'll need to succeed**
We are looking for a qualified or qualifying accountant coming from a relevant background with at least 2 years of experience. Experience with IFRS 17 is preferred, but not necessary. You should have a willingness to learn and be proactive in this Project Team
