[What the role is]
Assistant Manager, Land Management & Operation (Contract)
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a dynamic team maintaining land under SLA’s purview. Your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing and attending to public feedback on land maintenance related matters.
- Consulting and coordinating with various Government agencies on the proposals to use land managed by SLA.
- Issuing Temporary Occupation Licence for the use of vacant land.
- Liaising and coordinating with Licensees to ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of use.
- Planning and conducting site inspections for the land under your charge to ensure proper maintenance and to prevent unauthorised use of the land.
- Working closely with other Government agencies, contractors, and other service providers to ensure municipal issues are promptly attended to and resolved.
- Administering land and maintenance policies and financial transaction matters.
- Verifying land ownership, updating land records, data and other land related information.
- Improving work processes through creative & innovative thinking
[What we are looking for]
- A good team player who is meticulous, resourceful and a passion for service delivery.
- Strong analytical, data processing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech savvy and ability to think out-of-the-box.
- Having relevant technical background and/or experience in Facilities/ Estates/ Environmental Management would be advantageous.
