Senior Global Auditor

**Scope**:
Global Audit’s purpose is to strengthen HEINEKEN’s Internal Control & Risk Management activities thereby protecting HEINEKEN’s reputation, people, and assets. Our objective is to provides assurance to HEINEKEN’s Executive Team. To do this Heineken Global Audit performs audits focused on financials, process-controls, projects, and specific risk-based themes. The department is composed off independent, objective, unbiased professionals and trusted partners for risk management and control activities.

This job is an exciting opportunity for you to join a diverse, ambitious, dynamic and global team of audit professionals based in Singapore. As a Senior Auditor at HEINEKEN, you will be responsible to plan, manage and execute audit activities that are related to business processes and technology across a wide range of Operating Companies (OpCos) and Global Functions. Although this role is based in Singapore, up to 40% of the time is spent in our OpCo locations all over the globe. You will be part of a truly global function (50+ members, 25+ nationalities) and will have an opportunity to work with different Global Audit Managers and Directors based in other locations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Shape the approach to execute an engagement based on understanding of objectives and threats/risk, including preparing work programs, plans and reports;
- Conduct interviews, test and evaluate business documents as part of audit execution;
- Evaluate and assess risks of examined internal controls in the areas audited;
- Drive audit execution through data analytics as much as possible;
- Prepare formal written reports and presentations in the English language;
- Present the audit conclusions and recommendations to senior management;
- Work collaboratively in a team to ensure that audits are completed to required quality levels;
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including OpCo/Functional management, Global Audit and P&CI;
- Contribute to the overall level of information security within HEINEKEN;
- Contribute to improvement initiatives (e.g., methodologies, tools etc.) within Global Audit to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the function’s ways of working.

**Qualification, Experience & Skills**:

- University level education
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in an global organization’s audit function **OR** in a Big 4 (Internal audit/Risk Consulting/Advisory) **OR** in a mid-tier consulting firm (operational consulting/general advisory)
- An understanding of process level and technology-based controls as well as the ability to identify deficiencies within the control environment and their root cause.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and to take charge, confidence to interact with all management levels, set objectives and drive results, and accept ownership and accountability of the audit.
- Strong communication skill with an ability to connect the dots and tell a story.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (EXCEL skills a must). Ability to leverage Data Analytics [e.g., independently create, analyse and perform repetitive analytics (pivot tables, analytical queries/routines and dashboards e.g., Power BI)] is a definite plus.

Nice to have:

- FMCG/Beverage experience
- Experience with electronic audit software (e.g., PENTANA)
- Some experience in any of the following areas - technology infrastructure reviews, system auditing [i.e., financial systems (e.g., fixed Assets, Inventory, payroll, HR, etc.), and ERPs (e.g., SAP, JDE, Navision)], or cyber/information security.
