**Your background**

Coming from a technical background, you will have a deep understanding of network technologies including Core/WAN, Data Center and DMZ and how they are designed, deployed, and supported.

You have a creative mindset and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, being able to identify and prioritize business and operational needs. You are great at communicating and influencing, ensuring the most favorable outcome for your deliverables

You have a drive for getting things done, some may say an impatience, and are known for leaving nothing to chance - spotting unknown dependencies and proactively circumventing issues before they arise.

**Your experience**
- 8 - 10 years with hands-on experience in Core/WAN, Data Center and DMZ Engineering & Implementation team preferably in the banking and finance industry
- Strong knowledge and experience in engineering and deployment of network solutions including Routing and Switching, Security (CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls), Wireless (Cisco, Aruba), Micro segmentation (ISE/Clearpass), SD-WAN, Data Center SDA (ACI/NSX), Orchestration and Automation (Ansible, Python, Cisco DNAC)
- In-depth knowledge on common routing protocols and WAN technologies including but not limited to BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Multicast, and MPLS/VPLS.
- Strong knowledge of networking communication principles, network standards, and network security practices.
- Strong Working Knowledge of Market Data delivery networks using both TCP and UDP multicast with an ability to comprehensively troubleshoot through these networks.
- Experience in network analytics through packet capture (Sniffer) analysis and end system diagnostics (Netscout).
- Capability to summarize complex issues into executive summaries.
- Strong business partnership skills - Able to build broad-based business relationships across the organization and positively influence colleagues.
- Familiar with product deployments within a global banking environment.
- Willing to work some irregular hours based on the needs of global operating model and the location of clients.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify gaps, challenge others with positive intent, and drive debate towards identification and remediation of underlying risks.
- Knowledge of regulatory risk management in Technology and Information Security domains.
- Unhappy with laborious manual processes and procedures, always looking for opportunities to drive efficiencies.

**What you can expect**

APAC Network team is responsible for end-to-end engineering and deployment of network infrastructure services within Bank of America.

You will join a large team of network design and implementation engineers located across the Asia Pacific region to provide technical implementation services to support the evolution and ongoing support of the IP Network in response to projects (all types), upgrades, service, and feature enhancements and for remediation/break-fix services.

While the role primarily has an implementation and validation engineering focus, a strong understanding of design engineering concepts is required.

**What you will do**
- Responsible for hands-on implementation, configuration of engineering and deployment of new services into production.
- Work with support teams, lines of business and 3rd parties that BofA connect to build end-to-end solutions that balance business, security, availability, and resiliency requirements.
- Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect new additions to or modifications in the environment and handed into Operations successfully.
- Review of all capacity metrics to ensure availability of all services.
- Active participation in the change management process.
- Facilitate meetings among all stakeholders/ vendors regularly and produce status update reports periodically.
- Ensure security controls are implemented and operating effectively as part of solutions delivery.
- Collaborate with global engineering domain leads and operations teams from service design through to implementation and transition to support.
- Identifying and managing the mitigation of risks within the environment supporting activities related to Audit, Compliance Reviews & Regulatory Exams.
- Liaise with Information Security partners to enforce compliance with standards.
