**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems to automate and monitor various manufacturing equipment and processes, including batch control, continuous processes, and machine interfaces.
- Create intuitive and user-friendly Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to provide operators with clear visibility and control of the automation systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Process Engineers, Validation Engineers, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into the manufacturing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction through automation, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to comply with regulatory requirements and support ongoing validation efforts.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for automation systems, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system upgrades or modifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, or related field) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) and proven experience in developing complex control strategies for manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in coding languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar languages for automation and control system integration.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GMP), and validation principles.
- **Must be comfortable with contract basis role
