Job Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical interviews and neuropsychological assessments to diagnose and monitor cognitive changes in patients with dementia.
- Develop and conduct research studies in collaboration with other members of the research team, including data collection and analysis using appropriate statistical methods.
- Participate in weekly lab meetings, and prepare presentations as required.
- Write research papers and reports to publish in professional journals and present at conferences.
- Maintain a database of research data and findings to facilitate ongoing clinical and research activities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure integrated care for patients with dementia.
- Plan and provide individual and group therapy to patients with dementia and their families, using evidence-based interventions.
- Participate in professional development activities to keep up-to-date with advances in the field of dementia research.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in all activities.
Job Requirements:
- A master's degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proven ability to write research papers and reports.
- Experience conducting clinical interviews and neuropsychological assessments, preferably with patients with dementia.
- Knowledge of dementia and related disorders.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant software and technology for database management and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional standards in all activities.
